Post Surgery Pictures
Here are a few pictures of Nemo after his second surgery. The second surgery included two sites: the foreleg where the fungus is (was, we hope!) and a spot on his hip where we found a lump. We were worried that perhaps the fungus had spread and was showing up in his back leg. This would have been the worst possible news, but thankfully the biopsy on the lump was negative for the fungus.

The incision is about 2.5 inches. Dr. Cook of Kingsbrook Animal Hospital did an amazing job of closing this incision - there are NO stitches on the outside, he was able to close it completely from the inside.

Nemo's second surgery on the fungus.

Nemo's enjoying the sun on fall day. How can a dog so goofy look so regal?!
Let's hope the doctors at Kingsbrook won't see this picture. They told me to keep Nemo "quiet." Ha!
